WELCOME
Triratna Meditation Center (TMC) is a Tibetan Buddhist Meditation and Practice Center led by Venerable Lama Dudjom Dorjee. Lama Dudjom Dorjee was sent to the USA by the 16th Karmapa to teach Buddha Dharma to westerners, and therefore TMC is rooted in the Karma Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism. Our center offers teachings, practice sessions, and a supportive community for those interested in the teachings of the Buddha.
For a year now Rinpoche has spoken openly of his aspiration to build a new Dharma home in Dallas, Texas. His students here are working towards that aspiration, and currently applying for IRS 501(3)c non-profit status. Our current vision is to build a retreat center on the outskirts of the city, where we may host multiple dharma events throughout the week. Fundraising has begun.
