New Building Fund!
Triratna Meditation Center Building Fund Donations
(Flexible Payment Option)
So that we may fulfill ours and Lama Rinpoche’s aspirations to have a new dharma home, we have begun saving for the eventual purchase of a property.
TMC will begin fundraising to reach 50K! Once we have met our goal, there is a generous TMC member who will supply the rest of the funds. We hope that we may reach our goal of raising this amount within two years time – may all be very auspicious!
If you would like to make a gift to support establishing a new home for TMC and sustaining the work of our community, and importantly, our beloved Lama Rinpoche, please use the following donation link:
The Building Fund donation option allows you to enter the amount of your choosing and adjust it at the time of payment, with recurrence as an option. Donations to the Building Fund are tax deductible.
Tax-Deductibility Clarification
To avoid confusion, please note that membership dues and retreat fees are not tax-deductible, as IRS guidelines provide that payments made in exchange for goods, services, or benefits received are not considered charitable contributions.
As a reminder, TMC members attend retreats free of charge, while non-members may be asked to pay a retreat fee.
By contrast, gifts made to the TMC Building Fund and contributions made directly to support the Lama through TMC may qualify as charitable donations and may be tax-deductible. Members are encouraged to consult their tax advisor regarding their individual circumstances.
Additional Payment Information
Zelle, PayPal, and Venmo are no longer accepted, as those accounts were tied to our previous bank account.
Checks are still welcome and may be mailed to:
Triratna Meditation Center
411 Woodland Street
Denton, TX 76209
Please make checks payable to “Triratna Meditation Center” (and not to Edward Leal).
Thank you for your continued generosity and support of TMC. Your membership, donations, and participation help sustain our practice community and make our programs possible. We hope to soon have this information on our website, but for now, please use the information within this email to help you, or please reach out to TMC Treasurer Edward Leal at edward4377@gmail.com
Sarva Mangalam!
Triratna Meditation Center
Donations:
Triratna Meditation Center Building Fund Donations (Flexible Payment Option)
To fulfill the heartfelt aspiration of our beloved Lama Rinpoche and the TMC community to establish a permanent Dharma home, we have begun building a fund for the future purchase of a property. A dedicated Dharma center will provide a lasting place for practice, teachings, retreats, and community gatherings, ensuring that the Dharma continues to flourish for generations to come.
As the first step toward making this vision a reality, TMC has launched a Building Fund with an initial fundraising goal of $50,000. Once this goal has been reached, a generous TMC member has pledged to provide the remaining funds needed to complete the purchase. We aspire to reach this fundraising goal within the next two years. May all the necessary causes and conditions come together in the most auspicious way.
If you would like to help establish a permanent home for TMC and support the continued activities of our community—and, most importantly, the vision and teachings of our beloved Lama Rinpoche—we warmly invite you to contribute to the TMC Building Fund using the donation link below.
TMC Building Fund
You may donate any amount that is meaningful to you, with the option to make either a one-time or recurring contribution. All donations to the Building Fund are tax-deductible. Every gift, regardless of size, brings us one step closer to creating a permanent Dharma home where the teachings may continue to benefit countless beings for generations to come.
Thank you for your generosity, your practice, and your continued support of the Triratna Meditation Center (TMC) Dallas community. May the merit of this offering bring benefit to all beings.
